We received a few TrackR Bravos for free directly from TrackR, retail they're going for around $30, the same as the Estimote, but you can buy 1 at a time. Let me start by saying I actually know the creator of TrackR, so I may be a little biased - but probably a bit more harsh. Over the past year many new products have been released, more beacons, more software, just more of everything. I've recently started on a project that belongs to the Internet of Thigs, IoT, and it requires some proximity tracking - and for that the standard these days is BLE, or Bluetooth Low Energy, in the form of a 'beacon'. Sort of like Planet PHP or PHPDeveloper, except this site doesn’t look like it’s from the ’90s.Īll feeds Selecting the right beacon for your IoT project!
